Old Bike Racer

I was talking to a local about all sorts of things and she said her husband had been a bike racer with a British bike team in the 50’s, Michael Meek. He was in the Tour de France a number of times. He had a career ending leg injury that left him sad and somewhat bitter to this day, so that he has a hard time even watching bike races.
